High-quality construction, premium innovative design, and staunch commitment to communities. These are the words commonly associated with premier property developer Torre Lorenzo Development Corp (TLDC).

And aptly so, as TLDC has constantly lived up to its promise of creating premium lifestyle properties and townships that seek to provide elevated living experiences.

From pioneering premium university residences in the Philippines, TLDC has grown into a dynamic, full-scale developer, expanding its portfolio to include mixed-use projects and townships.

But there’s no stopping TLDC just yet. It continues to set its sights to further diversify its portfolio as well as geographic footprint to include leisure projects to serve a growing real estate market looking for quality and investment value.

TLDC is continuously on its quest to search for other emerging hubs and “next wave” cities outside of Metro Manila as potential engines for growth and development, and to live up to its vision to participate in the blossoming of these hubs.

“TLDC’s partnerships with international brands Dusit and Ascott underscore our shared commitment for quality, excellence and world-class service,” said Tomas Lorenzo, CEO of TLDC. “We’ve merged our real estate expertise with our global hospitality partners to fulfill our aligned vision: to create value for our investors and elevate living experiences for our residents as we gentrify our host areas, whether in Manila, Lipa or Davao.”

For 74 years, Dusit International has been in the business of providing unparalleled hospitality services in all of its 300 properties spread across 15 countries namely Egypt, Bahrain, UAE, Qatar, Maldives, Sri Lanka, Thailand, Vietnam, Bhutan, China, Japan, Singapore, Indonesia, Guam, and the Philippines.

As the saying goes, “greatness recognizes greatness,” and this is perhaps why Dusit International partnered with TLDC for four projects in Davao and Lipa with combined investments reaching P6.9 billion.

TLDC has long anticipated that Davao City will be among the country’s most important economic hub and this is evident now as seen in the highly urbanized city’s steady economic, industrial and tourism growth and consequent rise in demand for higher standards of living.

TLDC thus picked this bustling city as the home of its first collaboration with Dusit International, which is now known as Davao’s first luxury complex—the P4.1-billion Dusit Thani Residence Davao and dusitD2 Hotel Davao. The Dusit Thani Residence Davao is in fact the first Dusit Thani-branded residential development in Southeast Asia.

Nestled off the coast of Davao Gulf meanwhile is the P1.6-billion Dusit Thani Lubi Plantation Resort, also managed by Dusit. This is a product of TLDC’s desire to create a place where Filipinos can have a taste of the good life through a beautiful getaway in a private island.

This luxury island resort features 5-star villas, an exclusive beach, lush marine life and verdant greens. It houses first-class amenities and sports facilities for guests. In 2021, Dusit Thani Lubi Plantation Resort was awarded as the regional winner of the Luxury Beach Resort in Southern Asia by the World Luxury Hotel Awards 2021.

In Calabarzon, TLDC handpicked Lipa in Batangas to be the centerpiece of its vision to bring its brand of upgraded lifestyle in key cities outside Metro Manila.

To raise the bar when it comes to amenities and accommodations in vibrant cities outside the Metro, TLDC again partnered with Dusit to build South Luzon’s first internationally-branded hotel, Dusit Princess. The P1.2-billion hotel will be located in the mixed-use complex that is Tierra Lorenzo Lipa, which also features two residential towers. Only minutes away from Star Tollway, Tierra Lorenzo Lipa is primed to be a prestigious address in the city.

“The success of any project is concurrent with having a good partner,” said Lim Boon Kwee, chief operating officer of Dusit International. “We are delighted to find a trusted partner in Torre Lorenzo Development Corporation, whose real estate expertise and dedication to creating uplifting living experiences complement Dusit’s distinct brand of Thai-inspired, gracious hospitality.”

In the heart of the country’s capital, TLDC further cemented its commitment to offer well-designed serviced residences with carefully-curated amenities. Torre Lorenzo partnered with international lodging operator The Ascott Limited to bring distinct experiences in Torre Lorenzo Malate through The Suites at TLM and lyf.

The Suites at TLM is the first Ascott-managed property to open in Manila. These are serviced residences offering upgraded hotel-like services for residents and long-stay guests. By 2023, lyf at TLM is set to offer a co-living concept that will offer sophisticated living options for transients and guests in partnership with Ascott.

“TLDC is a developer with an appetite for growth and the passion to elevate what is presently in the market. The Ascott Limited mirrors TLDC’s passion in upgrading the hospitality market in the Philippines,” said Philip Barnes, country general manager of Ascott Philippines.
