Torre Lorenzo named one of the Best Companies to Work For in Asia in 2022

Torre Lorenzo Development Corporation was awarded as one of HR Asia’s Best Companies to Work For in 2022. The Company was also a recipient of HR Asia’s Most Caring Companies Award 2022. 

Out of 185 Filipino companies that took part in HR Asia’s proprietary Total Engagement Assessment, only the top 35 companies were named as HR Asia's Best Companies to work for in Asia 2022. From this roster, only six companies were given the Most Caring Companies Award 2022.

Below is the acceptance speech as delivered by Mr. Tomas Lorenzo, CEO of Torre Lorenzo Development Corporation during the 2022 Winners Announcement Ceremony held on November 3, 2022.

We at Torre Lorenzo are truly grateful to HR Asia for recognizing us as one of the Best Companies to Work For in Asia in 2022.

We would also like to thank our employees, for their appreciation of the human resource practices in the company. This award serves us an affirmation of the soundness of the Company’s Human Capital Strategy.

Torre Lorenzo is an emergent developer, so we know that we have to work harder to attract and retain talent. Our committed work force helps us consistently design, build, and deliver products that are responsive to our customers’ needs.

Beyond competitive and fair conditions of employment, we make sure that our policies are people-oriented, and that they allow our employees to balance their work and family commitments. Family is very important to us. This is why we have programs that support not just our employees, but their loved ones as well. Our goal is to have happy and productive employees who will encourage a similar environment in their homes.  

Like similar companies, when the pandemic hit, we went into self-preservation mode. However, we recognized that self-preservation meant taking care of our people as well, so we promptly rolled out a comprehensive pandemic response program.

Our pursuit for the ideal work environment that yields positive results for all our stakeholders does not end with this award. As Einstein said:  Life is like riding a bicycle.  To keep your balance, you must keep moving.
